Reginald Thomas

Reginald Thomas has over 20 years of driver education experience at a legislative level. He was explicitly responsible for evaluating and approving all driver education and driving safety programs in the state of Texas.

Mr. Thomas has also performed senior-level consulting and technical work for the Division of Driver Training: including extensive curriculum reviews and program analysis of driver education, driving safety, specialized driving safety, and drug and alcohol awareness programs. Additionally, Mr. Thomas oversaw complex investigations into suspected or reported violations of the rules and laws that regulate the driver training industry. His investigative focus lied particularly in education courses, emphasizing those presented by alternative technologies.

Reginald Thomas has been a powerful force in defining and upholding the integrity of driver training in many ways, including serving on the 12-member Driver Education Advisory Board for The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Mr. Thomas now works in a legislative capacity with National Driver Training and as the General Manager of Driver Education Internet Training.
